I should also mention i know the basics of 3Ds max and can make simple models. I have this bad habbit that i dislike popular softwares and i really don't mind if 3Ds max is more difficult to learn than blender.

Since this is gonna be years of journey and I'll be stuck with that software for years and years I wanted to have a choice that I don't regret. But can't help but think if blender is so much better or it's mostly because of the price. Which makes me wonder is 3Ds Max is so far behind? I know it's a silly question and every software can be amazing if you're using it at it's best and know it well. But I don't see a lot of people use 3Ds Max anymore and all the hype and arts have blender in title or somewhere in the picture. I used fusion 360 as well in the past and overall really like Autodesk apps. But i wanna start doing 3D (both interior and exterior) for my clients.Īnd here's the main reason why I asked the question that's been stuck with me for a while.
It's the greatest software in my opinion for what it's good at and really enjoy drawing on it. I have been drawing house plans for over 5 years (I know, not too long, but that's my experience) and I have to say, I LOVE working on AutoCAD. Want to start getting into 3D modeling and semi realistic rendering. So would be really nice if you guys can lead me. Hope this is not a bother and I'm not asking in the wrong place but have no where else to ask. However I actually have a lot of questions.
